Following the recent situation within the Hungary Division, we would like to ensure full transparency and reassurance to all our members.
After the Executive Council decided to remove the former Division HQ due to clear and confirmed violations of IVAO Rules and Regulations, the General Assembly established an independent committee to review the case in detail. On Monday, November 11, 2025, the committee released its final report, confirming the correct decision of the Executive Council regarding the former Division HQ.
Unfortunately, a number of division members were misled by false information and unfounded claims, which resulted in the resignation of several former staff members.
We understand the confusion this may have caused and wish to assure you that all actions taken were based on facts, accountability, and strict adherence to IVAO rules and regulations.
Our sole priority now is to restore stability, trust, and activity within the Hungary Division. We kindly invite all dedicated members who wish to contribute positively to the future of the division to apply for HQ positions by contacting us at executive@ivao.aero. Together, we can rebuild a stronger and more vibrant Hungary Division.
Additionally, the official Hungary Division Discord server was compromised, and control was taken by former staff members. As a result, the Executive Council has created a new official Discord server for all Hungary Division members. Join Discord Here
This new server will now serve as the only official communication platform for the division. Once new staff members are appointed, management of the server will be transferred to them.

What are the requirements to be an active division?

I am currently flying IVAO HU tours, will my pireps be validated?
Short answer, YES! The Executive Council are currently monitoring all the tours created by the past Hungary team. Your pireps are being accepted daily and awards being issued accordingly. You can access the HU Divisional tour system HERE
I am an IVAO HU member, am I still allowed to control ATC positions?
Yes, you are still allowed to control as long as you meet the current FRA requirements. The FRA system can be accessed HERE
You can also still book your ATC position if you plan on controlling through IVAO's ATC booking client.
